Urban Kiz & Kizomba Gold Coast
Urban Kiz Gold Coast
Urban Kiz is precise, grounded and deeply musical — a modern partner dance built entirely on connection.
No partner needed · Adult classes · Southport, Gold Coast
Evolving from Kizomba, Urban Kiz is danced with a strong frame, controlled weight transfer and a clear conversation between leader and follower. There is very little decoration and nowhere to hide, which is exactly what makes it such good training for any partner dancer.
Our Urban Kiz classes on the Gold Coast build the fundamentals first: posture, walking technique, tension and release, and the ability to stop, pause and change direction cleanly.
From there you learn saidas, redirections and the musical interpretation that gives Urban Kiz its distinctive sharp, smooth character.
